Meet Snowatch Sally!

Snowatch Sally is a 2 1/2 yr. old filly that has been worked with natural horsemanship techniques since birth. She is presently under saddle and as a TWH needs to be able to master saddle training that will build and mold her into her natural gait. After she was introduced to a rider, she was taught to "pace" to get her to swing and reach out with her front legs while bringing her hind legs well under her.

Once she had perfected that, we got her to "time walk", squaring her up a bit and getting her comfortable with a "walking gait" or "4-beat gait". Surprisingly this past week, Sally had hit her first true "running walk", a great accomplishment for a young Tennessee Walking Horse. We will periodically update her progress here!
